This week, the Bass Cake family and I will be going over the most anticipated sets of Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival.
Okeechobee is known for its' diverse and unique musical lineup. This year is no exception! Artists are brought in all over the world for this special four-day event. Here are the top-artist to see this year:
ODEZA

ODEZA are a duo that play Electronic Dance Music from Bellingham, Washington. They have been nominated for 6 Grammys, including Best Dance/Electronic album and recording. ODEZA's latest album, "The Last Goodbye", peaked at number 11 on the US charts. This has led to ODEZA's headlining multiple music festivals in 2023, including Okeechobee. If you have never seen them before, ODEZA is a must-see at this year's Okeechobee festival.
Lil Yachty

Lil Yachty is a musician from Atlanta, Georgia. He gained popular with rap hits such as "Minnesota" and "One Night" in 2015 and 2016. However, Lil Yachty is not just a rapper. On January 27, 2023, Yatchy released his fifth studio album, "Let's Start Here". On this new album, Yatchy strays away from his trap roots and leans into the psychedelic rock genre. Lil Yachty's first live performance of his new album will be at Okeechobee. "This will be like no Yachty show you've seen before. I'm excited for Okeechobee to witness it first" said Yachty when asked about his upcoming performance.
Earth, Wind & Fire

Earth, Wind & Fire are a musical group comprising of many genres from Chicago, Illinois. The group has been preforming since 1969 and are one of the greatest-selling bands of all time. With global hits such as 'September' and 'Let's Groove', the band has over billions of view. Earth, Wind & Fire are sure to be having you grooving this March at Okeechobee.
Big Boi

Big Boi is a producer and rapper from Atlanta, Georgia. He is mostly known for being one-half of the Atlanta-based rap duo "Outkast". Big Boi helped create one of the greatest rap albums of all time, 'Speakerboxxx/The Love Below'. This album peaked number 1 in the US and featured hit songs such as 'Hey Ya!' and 'Roses'. With his longevity in the music combined with his chart-topping ability, Big Boi is a must-see at Okeechobee Music Festival. Outkast is my favorite rap duo of all time, so I will defiantly be seeing Big Boi.
Remember, Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival is not all about the big musical names, but rather the experience. If you accidently miss a performer you wanted to see, use the motto "Be Here Now" to discover something now. Okeechobee is all about finding and sharing new experiences with those around you. Follow the music and you are sure to have an unforgettable time.
